Design your public self-service site: blocks, columns, themes and inline editing.
Your help center is a public website where customers find answers on their own. You design it in Settings → Help Center → Editor — a visual, Wix-like editor showing the real site as you build it.
Pages
The site has four page types, each with its own layout: Home, Article, Collection and Search. Switch between them with the tabs at the top of the editor.
Blocks
Each page is a stack of blocks — hero with search, collection grids, article lists, FAQs, call-to-action bands, rich text, media and multi-column sections. To edit:
- ·Click a block to open its settings in the floating panel.
- ·Drag blocks to reorder them; drop content blocks inside columns to build side-by-side layouts.
- ·Type directly on headings and paragraphs — text is editable inline, right on the page.
- +Use the + button between blocks to insert a new one from the palette.
Theme and templates
The right-hand panel controls colors, fonts and the overall template.
Templates reset layout. Applying a template resets the block layout of all four pages but keeps your theme colors.
Publishing
The Published toggle controls whether the site is publicly reachable. Hit Save to apply your changes — then see Publish your help center for putting it in front of customers via your URL or a JavaScript embed.
Click, drag, type — then save and flip Published on.
