Everything visual lives under Settings → Channels → your widget → Design. A live preview on the side updates as you edit, so you can see every change before you publish.
Branding
- ·Primary color — used for the launcher, the header and the visitor's own message bubbles. Pick the color that matches your site.
- ·Logo — shown in the chat header and, optionally, on the launcher button.
- ·Header title — the name at the top of the open chat (e.g. Acme Support).
- ·Corner radius — how rounded the panel, bubbles and buttons are, from square to fully pill-shaped.
- ·Light or dark mode — choose the theme that fits the pages where the widget appears.
The launcher button
The launcher is the floating button visitors click to open the chat.
Welcome message
The first thing a visitor sees inside the chat. Keep it short and inviting — Hi! How can we help?
Outside your business hours, the welcome message is replaced by your away message instead (see Set your chat availability).
Custom text labels
Under Design, the text editor lets you reword every label the visitor reads — the online/away status, the message box placeholder, the pre-chat form fields, the "Start chat" button and the rating prompt. Use it to set the tone of voice, or to write the widget in your own words.
Languages
- ·Default language — what the widget falls back to when you don't support the visitor's language.
- ·Languages you support — the widget shows its built-in labels in the visitor's language when you support it.
- ·Your custom labels — always take priority over the built-in translations.
Changes go live on your site within a moment, no code change required.
