If your articles already live somewhere else, import them in bulk from Settings → Help Center → Articles → Import.
CSV import
Prepare a CSV with one row per article. Three columns are required:
- ✓title — the article title.
- ✓collection — the collection name; use
Parent > Childfor a sub-collection. Missing collections are created automatically; existing ones are reused by name. - ✓content — the article body, in Markdown.
Optional columns: slug, locale, excerpt, status (draft or published), visibility (public or internal), seo_title, seo_description.
title,collection,content,slug,locale,excerpt,status,visibility,seo_title,seo_descriptionTranslations. Rows sharing a slug with different locales become translations of the same article.
The import always starts with a dry run: you see exactly what would be created before anything is written.
Zendesk import
Then follow the guided steps.
The in-app tour shows you where to create it.
Your categories, sections and articles are mapped to collections and articles.
Review before publishing. Imported articles arrive as drafts.
After the import
- ·Skim the imported articles — formatting from other tools occasionally needs a touch-up.
- ·Check the collection structure in Articles and drag things around if needed.
- ·Publish, then search — run a few searches on your public site to confirm everything is findable.
Run the dry run, fix what it flags, and publish.
