Getting Started

Invite your team and manage roles

Add agents and admins, and understand what each role can do.

Lunadesk is built for teams. Add everyone who answers customers — assignment, collision detection and reporting all work better when each person has their own account.

Inviting a teammate

  1. Go to Settings → Team.
  2. Type your teammate's email and pick a role.
  3. Click Invite — they get an email to join your workspace.

Here is the whole flow, start to finish (use the controls to pause or step back):

Accept an invitation

Got an invite to join a team on Lunadesk? Here is how to come aboard — no account required up front.

  1. Open the email. Look for "You've been invited to join {workspace} on Lunadesk" in your inbox (check spam if it's not there). Invitations expire after a few days, so accept yours while it's fresh.
  2. Click "Accept invitation". The button in the email opens your personal join page on Lunadesk.
  3. Set up your account. New to Lunadesk? Enter your full name and choose a password (at least 8 characters). If you already have a Lunadesk account on that email, you'll just log in to confirm.
  4. You're in. You land straight in the workspace's inbox, with the role the admin chose for you — Agent or Admin. Start replying to customers right away.

Roles

Role What they can do
Owner Everything, including billing and deleting the workspace.
Admin Everything an agent can, plus channels, team management, automation and help-center settings.
Agent Work the inbox: read, reply, add notes, assign, change status.

Tips

  • Keep the number of admins small — most day-to-day work only needs the Agent role.
  • Deactivating a member keeps their ticket history intact; their open tickets can be reassigned.
  • Each member can set their own language and notification preferences from their profile.
